The Orange Pimpernel

Distressed that Jamie Bryson is on the run. The Orange Pimpernel could be anywhere….and simply hide in full view. We must be vigilant.

i think that bryson is becoming a figure of fun and i suspect losing credibility as a community worker among commentators such as nolan

  2. The LADs Facebook page is a must. Whoever is doing it is seriously funny. Anyway, his links to loyalist pages shows the internal fracture and disillusion among the various groups and areas and how sore many of them are at Jamie et al. There is certainly anger at the increasing disinterest from north Belfast, possibly why Jim Wilson, Willie and others were outside Seaview couple of weeks ago.

As I keep asserting, there is no such thing as a flegs dispute but a unionist campaign that goes back almost 2 years now. Bit players have been apologetic cops in Ballyclare, the Young Conway Voluneers, the manipulation of the loyal orders by the bigoted urban lodges and Pinky and Perky as well as the N Ireland society and economy.

What’s odd is that unionism clearly loves supremacy more than their statelet and are clearly willing to sacrifice it’s success for that very sake.

Speaking of people going missing Nigel Lutton the Unionist Unity candidate for Mid-Ulster has turned down a BBC offer for a televised debate. According to Mark Devenport on Twitter.

Nigel Lutton has also turned down interviews with the Belfast Newsletter and Mid-Ulster Mail. And questions left on his website about the Flags protest have been removed. How strange.

The problem is they would ask him:

    Did you support the GFA.

Then it would emerge he was really a DUP person and didn’t have “UUP values”

    They seek him here,
    They seek him there,
    They seek wee Jamie everywhere,
    Is he in Bangor?
    Or is he in Bel’
Or is he with Nigel in Maygashel

  8. According to UTV, they’ve got wee Jamie.

    single nationalist candidates

SF have not called for a non-party candidate to stand instead of sf or sdlp.

Rather SF was good enough to back the SDLP candidate in belfast south securing a nationalist victory. however sdlp did not do likewise in fsT putting the sf seat in jeopardy.

Although there was a difference between the sdlp and SF back in our parents time, when this has narrowed after Adams-Hume when the SDLP came on to sf territory…came on board with the peace process project that Sinn FΓ©in had been working on during the early years and the difficult years when SF had to do a lot of heavy lifting to bring about a coalition of nationalist interests.
