This was actually meant to be a busy Blogging night. I have half prepared a post on Lucid Talk and that assertion that only seven per cent of the people in Norn Iron want a United Ireland. …in anticipation of the inevitable thread which will be posted on THAT liberal unionist discussion board.
I also wanted to post on Chelsea-Clattenburg….and Alex Feguson’s new statue at Old Trafford (and a reference to Sinn Féin in that).
Instead I have spent literally hours replying to a stream of escalating nonsense, including the charge that I cannot withstand scrutiny. What would Mick Fealty do at a time like this? I bet youre having a wee chuckle Mick……and I dont blame you.
The difference between Stratagem-O’Toole and Keeping An Eye on the Czar of Russia is that Slugger is DISCUSSION BOARD, which is essentially all about a high minded political discussion which purports to have no agenda other than to facilitate this great diversity.
The Czar of Russia is but a humble blog……the work of a socialist, republican and nationalist who has been rather open about the fact that I am a member of SDLP……..and in effect this Blog is facilitated by thinking comments (sic) who are in that broadly socialist, republican and nationalist tradition., whether SDLP supporting, Sinn Fein supporting, uncommitted republican or other people who are open minded but who are anxious to see that Agenda advance.
I have always been open that I have an Agenda. A Blog is entitled to an Agenda. A Discussion Board is entitled to an Agenda …..but not entitled to pretend that it hasn’t.
Is he a Troll or a Stalker? Or just weird? I am sensitive to the notion that I am stifling debate.I actually think the points raised are not really debating points at all.
From now on I intend ignoring him. No single reason, certainly not his Sinn Féin membership (as claimed). He is merely a vexation to my Soul

Factual is a common blogger on P.ie. Apparently she is a girl as she has commented on some good looking men. Either that or gay. In any case it has resulted in discussions about ppl reckoning they have worked out who ‘she’ is exactly.
She tends to be the most unswerving, unquestioning regurgitator of the SF party on the entire interweb which has gained her a degree of notoriety and the perfect lobby fodder that you refer to elsewhere. Congratulations!
Factual has followed me here from Politics.ie. I have unapproved his/her comments sent today. I have let yestrerdays stay. This is a Blog…not a discussion board. And I dont run it commercially. I think other Boards encourage trolls cos they want advertising revenue. My aims are much more narrow.

A stalker FJH? Surely not! I have only come across Factual on P.ie s/he is invariably polite.
Alas this Blog is a victim of its own success. On Saturday my statistics were the biggest ever the Blog has had ….actually by a considerable amount.
I might have to hire a Baker or a Walker…….or open a new branch in Lisburn.
Getting too much for one elderly but still ruggedly handsome man ….and there have been complaints from Mrs FJH that the dishes have not been put in or taken out of the dishwasher between 7.30am and 5pm.
The excuse “I was blogging” is no longer working.
Awww your wife bought you a dishwasher; so nice. Congratulations on your success FJH but does it follow that success brings stalker/s? I have not found that.
I suppose the more people who see the Blog, then we get a wide range of people.
I dont know if you read thru Saturdays threads but Factual caused me some stress and I missed the first ten minutes of Match of the Day.
While trying to pitch this Blog at (mostly) thinking nationalists/republicans/socialists (or people like me…….I am fairly open to publishing critical comments). Drawing the line (like the Judge in the Lady Chatterly case) at anything we “wouldnt like our wives and servants” to read..so bad language is a no-no.
And of course anything that might be libellous.
But basically anything goes…….as long as it is a “conversation” of sorts.
The Dishwasher….I will have you know I bought it for Mrs FJH to make her life easier. And now she is using it against me.
I did have a look in the other day. I can’t say I paid any attention to Factual he as you will be well aware is a strong Slugger supporter so I know in advance where he is coming from.
I’m pleased you bought the dishwasher FJH but it might have been better to stick to diamonds. just my opinion but utensils are utensils and diamonds are not.
